Alexander Shevchuk was born in Ukraine. He graduated from Kiev Fine Art Academy. Began exhibiting in 1995. He specialises in genre pictures and portraits, especially nudes where his ability to express skin tones is exceptional. His paintings are held in private collections in East and West Europe.
